Boost Geometry (aka Generic Geometry Library, GGL)Boost.Geometry talk is scheduled for BoostCon’10 conference. Thanks to Barend Gehrels, Boost.Geometry team will be represented on the conference.

In spite of the fact I’m listed as a speaker for BoostCon’10, I will not attend this amazing event. I’ve planned to be there, I can’t make it this year, unfortunately.

It’s a must-not-miss event!

I started my Open Source Software advantures as a developer around 2002. I haven’t been maintaining a project for longer than a couple of years, but I have decent experience in working with aged and well-settled projects. I have made observations. Here, one talk especially interests me. It should be intesteing to every long time maintainers of Open Source projects based on C++ programming language. It is Renovating a legacy C++ project by noble ACCU member Alan Griffiths.

Paul Ramsey keynote at FOSS4G 2009

This is video with Paul Ramsey keynote at the Free and Open Source Software For Geospatial (FOSS4G) conference in Sydney. It’s not a high quality video, but the content delivered by Paul is high-end, as always.

Thanks go to OpenGeo for delivering the videos.
