Dmitriy, yes, AFAIK you can set the toolset using the command line option, assuming you are using the BB patched for VS11.

Who cares? Some people don't... The ones who do may be ones you can trust, rely on. The ones that tell you the truth you need to hear when you don't want to. The ones telling you to stop using whatever you are addicted to. The ones who don't leave you when you make mistakes.

Eduardo, testing FreeTDS support would be interesting indeed, but I'm not planning any work for this now. SOCI is suspended until new lead developer shows up.

It worked fine :-)

You use git commands, so yes it works in repo/clone. Here Linus Torvalds explains why: Does GIT has vc keywords like CVS/Subversion?

Matt,

This is a really stupid question I know from someone who doesn't use GIT nor grasp why GIT is better than SVN, but how do you keep track of who made the last change in the file? Does GIT stamp that somewhere on the file automagically? Is it only visible in the repositories?

>>Specifically, I?d need to modify the script a bit to handle input from stdin.<<

No. These commands are equivalent AFAIK

What xargs (-exec) does is that it takes each line (word?) from stdin, and passes that as a parameter to the command (substitutes {} with the value)

In these examples, the name of the file is passed as a parameter to the py script, just as before.
