So… It’s always really hard to write about yourself. Someone could say that I should put money out to get a publicist to write my resume. Yeah, that could be funny. But the problem is that I don’t know any publicist who knows me enough. I have to do it my self ;-)
Currently, I live in London, in United Kingdom, where I’m happy working as Senior Programmer at Cadcorp company.
I’d say I’m a geek because I’m interested – or better, fascinated – in many things. I like to know more and more about those things, so I dig into them as much as possible, and as much as those things are interesting for me.
I’d also say I’m a hacker, not a cracker. I like creating things and solving problems. So, I understand what ESR says about hacking this way: it is a kind of motive power giving people technical adeptness and a delight in solving problems and overcoming limits. I really like this understanding of hacking = motive power.
Sport. When I was a kid, sport was one of the most important thing in my life (football, basket, jogging,…). I always was fascinated with climbing, mountainering and more extreme sports. When I went to high school I started to practise climbing. I practise climbing till now, also biking and jogging. Certainly, I don’t have as much time as I wish, but – as Jules Winnfield said – But I’m trying, Ringo. I’m trying real hard to be the shepherd…climber :-)
